Among the restaurants available for delivery in Penang are household names like Nando’s, Kenny Rogers Roasters, Italiannies, and Canton-i. There are also local gems like Karaikudi Restaurant, Yella Fork, Lagenda Restaurant, and Teow Chew Ming Restaurant, which are all mostly located in the capital city Georgetown.
Ms Lekka said, “We are working towards bringing more and more quality restaurants to each area in Penang. We aim to have a reach in Penang similar to what we enjoy in Klang Valley, and we’re putting in all efforts to make that goal a reality.”
To further boost the awareness and experience of customers, foodpanda Malaysia will also be throwing in free delivery with any online or mobile order from any restaurant for its Penang customers.
This expansion is part of a major process change, as foodpanda aims to add more substance and value to its service.
