He’s back – kinda.
DJ/producer Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) recently released the official music video for his latest single, “Broken Arrows”.
With captivating visuals, the video tells the story of Olympian Dick Fosbury and the way he reinvented the standard technique for the high jump. The revolutionary technique is now known as the “Fosbury Flop“, adopted by almost all high jumpers today.
We digress!
Of course, it would seem as though Avicii is using Fosbury as a parallel to tell his own story. But as you watch the video, the “cracks” start to show as trials and tribulations such as broken relationships, professional struggles, and family difficulties surface.
And it’s all centered around the substance abuse that confront the main actor. Hmm, could this be Avicii talking about himself too? Only Avicii knows.

“Broken Arrows” is the 3rd official single from Avicii’s long-awaited sophomore studio album, “Stories“.
