When Marvel did away with the post-credits scene in “Avengers: Age of Ultron“, fans of the movie were, understandably, disappointed. But it seems like they are atoning for it by including 2 end credits scenes in their upcoming superhero venture, “Ant-Man”.
Several members of media were treated to a press screening for the upcoming “Ant-Man“, and all of them have disclosed that the movie will have a mid-credits scene, as well as an end credits tag. To avoid spoilers, none of them revealed the content for the scenes, but it was described as “good” and “a must-see”
The press screening was held on the night of Thursday (25th June), and press members were allowed to tweet their responses to the movie. Most of the reactions were positive, with critics praising the film’s sense of humour and fun execution. As “Ant-Man” was meant as a heist film, several press members also compared the superhero movie to 2001’s “Ocean’s Eleven”. Michael Pena has also gained recognition for his outstanding performance in the movie.
Directed by Peyton Reed, “Ant-Man” was produced by Marvel president Kevin Feige. It was based on a screenplay by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay, and Paul Rudd, which was in turn adapted from a story by Wright and Cornish. “Ant-Man” will bring a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the 1st time, with Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Dr. Hank Pym planning and pulling off a heist that will save the world.
