Remember the “Bus on the Bridge” clip that was released on Tuesday (16th June)? There’s more where that came from.
Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions have released a few more “Terminator Genisys” video clips and we assure you that it is all worth your time. However, here’s a word of caution – do not watch them if you want to avoid any spoilers.
Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the film to reprise his role as the original Terminator T-800 while “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney play Sarah Connor and sargeant Kyle Reese respectively. The 5th instalment in the “Terminator” series also casts Jason Clarke as John Connor, the leader of the human resistance. The additional cast includes Dayo Okeniyi as Danny Dyson, Matthew Smith as T-5000, Courtney B. Vance as Miles Dyson, and Lee Byung Hun as T-1000.
The new clips include an interrogation, a fight scene (which includes a very young Arnold Schwarzenegger), and an obligatory explosion. You can even take a peek at what happens behind the scenes! But as expected, some spoilers are included in these clips.
Still insist on watching? Well, don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Here goes:
Now, is that sensory overload or what? Any more clips and we might as well just skip going to the cinema. 😉
In case you’re still confused over what happened in the clips, here’s the plot line to help you keep up:
In the film, John Connor (Jason Clarke), the leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, but an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future…
The feature film is directed by Alan Taylor (famed for directing “Thor: The Dark World”) based on a screenplay by Leata Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. It is produced by David Ellison and Dana Goldberg.
“Terminator Genisys” is intended to be the 1st of a trilogy and will hit cinemas on 2nd July 2015.
