We don’t know how and when, but apparently, Korean actress Shin Se Kyung was in Malaysia recently for a magazine photo shoot.

More than a month ago, we conducted an e-mail interview with Se Kyung, who stars as Oh Cho Rim opposite JYJ‘s Park Yoo Chun in one of the latest Korean dramas, “The Girl Who Sees Smells”. Through the interview, we talked about how she dealt with her role in the series, how she relates herself to her character, and how being in the South Korean showbiz industry has shaped her as a person.

However, there is just one thing that she didn’t tell us about: Her plans of coming to Malaysia.

After “The Girl Who Sees Smells” ended, it was reported that the famed actress took some time off to rest and got herself a feature in the July issue of lifestyle magazine, “Singles Korea”.

For the latest pictorial, the production team including Se Kyung herself took a trip to the LEGO-themed amusement park, Legoland Malaysia. In the pictures, the actress can be seen posing in front of various big lego structures, sporting various sundresses, and summer accessories.

The full photo shoot is featured in the latest issue of Singles Korea,, but you can check out some of the photos below:

Meanwhile, it seems like Se Kyung isn’t the only actress to have secretly made her way to Malaysia as Dongwoon of BEAST revealed in the May issue of Japanese magazine ANAN that he secretly took a trip to our country earlier in February.

But instead of going to the city, the maknae went to Kota Kinabula in Sabah instead:

Finally in February, something I yearned for came true – a trip by myself. I even went just by myself to the airport by bus. My destination was Kota Kinabalu island in Malaysia. I swam in the beautiful ocean and did some shopping. There was not a lot of tourists from Korea, so I relaxed really well without being noticed.

Things like these could’ve gone completely unnoticed if the celebrities didn’t talk about their experiences in Malaysia. But then again, isn’t it great if they managed to travel in peace?
