Tinker Bell has become one of the main spokes-character in Disney’s “Peter Pan”. Although as a fairy, she can be very helpful and kind, Tinker Bell often portrays herself as the ill-behaved, jealousy overloaded and spoiled fairy due to her unrequited love for Peter.

The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Reese Witherspoon will be starring as Tinker Bell in “Tink”. She will also be producing the film along with Bruna Papandrea, her partner at the duo’s Pacific Standard banner.

Victoria Strouse who wrote the script for Pixar’s forthcoming “Finding Dory” is on board to write the script for this project.

It was also reported that the film is being developed similarly to the Disney’s 2014 hit “Maleficent” that starred Angelina Jolie as the evil witch from “Sleeping Beauty”.
