Turtles, get ready to meet your arch-foe!

As reported by Hollywood Reporter, Brian Tee has signed on to appear in the sequel to 2014’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles“. Tee will be taking on the role of Shredder, the Turtle’s biggest nemesis.

He will be joining the other confirmed cast including the return of Megan Fox, William Fichtner, and Will Arnett who will be playing the roles of April O’Neil, Eric Sacks and Verne Fenwick, respectively.

Apart from Tee, newcomers to the movie franchise will also include “Arrow“‘s Stephen Amell who will take on the role of masked villain Casey Jones and Tyler Perry who will play scientist Baxter Stockman.

Shredder, the Turtles oldest enemy was created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman before debuting in the same 1984 comic that featured the first appearances of the Turtles themselves. This character plays the role of a leader of the Foot Clan, a criminal organisation that combines various illegal activities including assassination, money counterfeiting, and drug trading.

The role of “Shredder” was previously played by Tohoru Masamune in 2014, helmed by Jonathan Liebesman.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 2” is slated for release on 3rd June, 2016. David Green is set to direct while Michael Bay is once again on board to produce.
