If you’re a LINE app user, you might as well reward yourself for it, right? Luckily, LINE just thought of that!

Introducing, LINE Mileage, the LINE reward programme LINE introduces reward programme which will allow users to enjoy exciting privileges simply by chatting via the app. What kind of exciting privileges, you ask? From lavish lifestyle brands such as Starbucks, Chatime, Zalora, and Lazada, just to name a few.

How it works is that for every one message – in the form of text, stickers or sticons – sent via LINE, users will receive 1 Friendship Point to be accumulated into their BCARD and redeemed for rewards. And as a welcome gift, all LINE newcomers wil receive 300 Friendship Points which is equivalent to RM3 (until 26th of April).

In conjunction of the launch, LINE has introduced popular Korean celebrity, Lee Kwang Soo as the face of LINE Mileage in Malaysia. Malaysians will be able to see Lee Kwang Soo (Girin!) and his comical antics in a series of TVCs that will hit the local shores.

“I am glad to be able to meet my fans in Malaysia through this great opportunity with LINE Malaysia. Hope everyone gets to enjoy the most exciting benefits through LINE Mileage while chatting on LINE!” said Lee Kwang Soo.

As an added bonus, here’s a hilarious behind-the-scenes video clip of Lee Kwang Soo:
