Wait no longer, Marvel fans! The official synopsis for the upcoming Marvel film “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is finally here!
Marvel “Avengers: Age of Ultron” will once again bring the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes back onto silver screen as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, and Scarlett Johansson are all set to reprise their heroic roles. With the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the Avengers assemble again to defeat a new enemy, Ultron (played by James Spader), a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction.
Prior to the release of the film, Marvel released the official synopsis of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” that was written and directed by Joss Whedon:
Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
So, we assume you already know that the sentient robot Ultron is originally created by the Dr Hank Pym aka the original Ant-Man. But what made Joss Whedon change the storyline by letting Tony Stark become the creator of Ultron instead?
Our assumptions led us to conclude that Tony Stark isn’t really a “creator”, but just a “key” to jumpstart an old dormant peacekeeping program created by both his father and Dr Hank Pym. But unfortunately, the program was forced to shut down due to some unforeseen circumstances. What are the unforeseen circumstances? You ask?
Well, take a look at Evangeline Lily’s new Wasp-style hairdo!
Although there’s no mention of Paul Bettany’s The Vision in the official synopsis, the “uneasy alliances” and “unexpected action” confirmed that he’ll be appearing in the film, along with 2 newcomers, Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver. In fact, Marvel confirmed that the Avengers will be meeting their “old friend in a new form” when actor Paul Bettany transformed from voice acting for Tony Stark’s intelligent system J.A.R.V.I.S to physically acting for the Vision.
But what do we really know about the film? Exactly. As such, we shall not speculate any further!
