Hong Kong stars Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng will head for Singapore on June 26, to grace the Singapore premiere of their new film “Blind Detective” at the Resorts World Sentosa Festive Grand Theatre. Lau and Cheng will also attend a meet-the-fans session at the Plaza Singapura shopping mall during their visit here.

“Blind Detective” is the pair’s seventh film collaboration.

Andy Lau Sammi Cheng Blind Detective

Helmed by “Life Without Principle” director Johnnie To, “Blind Detective” tells the story of Chung See Tun (played by Andy Lau), a blind former-police officer who uses his excellent powers of deduction to solve cold cases and make a living. He meets policewoman Ho Ka Tung (played by Sammi Cheng) while working on a robbery case, and she enlists his help to track down a dangerous killer.

Maybe the fans in Singapore can finally ask both Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng about their rumoured baby news? And by that, we mean the word on the street about baby #2 for Andy and Sammi’s decision to (finally) have a kid!
