“Food Bites”, the food market dedicated to bring gourmet treats to the curb-side, is returning to the quarterly curated bazaar “Markets@Jaya One”; this time with epicurean treats made from ingredients in shades of yellow.
Its debut in May this year featured ten vendors selling various gourmet styled street food such as ice cream potong, alcohol infused fudge brownies, hot dogs served with a Korean twist plus duck tacos with mango salsa. The overwhelming positive response left punters hungry for more.
For the second installation of the food market, Food Bites’ carefully curated vendors made up of gourmands established food outlets and small food businesses as well as passionate food hobbyists and home cooks will be serving up delectable dishes made of mangoes, whole grain mustard or yellow bell peppers and other ingredients the shade of sunshine.
Proving that gourmet food isn’t necessarily expensive, dishes will be sold at curb side prices ranging from RM 5 to RM15. But that’s not the best part.
The best part is, admission is free! Yay!
Food Bites curator Jenifer Kuah said, “Gourmet food doesn’t have to be pricey. There’s plenty you could do with a comb of bananas and it wouldn’t cost a bomb. At the same time, we want to serve the public with good quality food.”
