Face it – we’re all too busy to take extra classes to hone our talents or pursue our other interests. As it is, most of us already take life too seriously. Too much work, no time, exhaustion, the list goes on for what our weekdays are like. And we don’t even have time for family or our friends, let alone meet new people. Nevermind extra classes.
This is where the new and fun way of picking up skills comes in. Introducing “CultureRun“, a market-place of real-life classes.
CultureRun stems from a simple belief: to make the sharing of skill easy, fun, and passion-led.
Founded by two extraordinary individuals, Suwen Low & Su-Zen Low, CultureRun aims to make learning a lifestyle in Kuala Lumpur, giving individuals the opportunity to share their skills, to learn something new, meet new people, and discover new places through their “ShareShops“.
What are “ShareShops”, you ask?
ShareShops are low-commitment, one-off classes. You could say that it makes leaning a chance of a lifetime! ShareShops encompasses a wide range of categories such as:
- Cooking
- Games
- Hobbies
- Music
- Sports
- Fitness
Just to name a few.
The best part is, different ShareShops are conducted in an array of venues across the Kuala Lumpur area, so you can be sure that no two are the same. It’s through these “once in a lifetime” learning activities that participants have the opportunity to gain new skills, meet people, have a blast, and create new social links over peer-to-peer learning.

Oh, and if you have special skill that you really, really want to share, you can also volunteer to “giveback” learning to the community. Think, exchange knowledge for knowledge in an easy, enjoyable, and collaborative way.

Then CultureRun could just be the thing you’re looking for!
