2 New Drops From Richard Mille & Anicorn Are Our Timepiece Goals!

Sleek yet elaborate, dazzling yet functional. These are the words that we use to describe today’s dope timepiece highlights.

From master-crafted luxury watches, to dark and mysterious chronographs, here are two timepiece drops that straddle both the worlds of timekeeping and art.

Richard Mille’s RM 17-02 Tourbillon In Titanium

Richard Mille has been known to create nothing short of amazing timepieces. Even though the Swiss luxury watch brand has only been in the market since 2001, it has been at the top of its game and making a name for itself with handcrafted masterpieces, as well as machine-milled works of art.

As a testament to their exceptional craftsmanship, the watchmaker recently debuted their most recent creation – the RM 17-02 Tourbillon in Titanium, which embodies the brand’s innovative spirit and high watchmaking prowess.

The case – the Maison’s emblematic tonneau tripartite – comes in at a little over 40mm in diameter. Do not be fooled by its seemingly bulky design, as it has been perfectly crafted from a durable yet lightweight grade 5 titanium body. This case underwent rigorous R&D to receive the perfect dimension that makes it a suitable collector’s piece, the process of which has been likened to the creation of Formula 1 race cars.

In keeping with the tradition of watchmaking, the RM 17-02’s housing does not include a casing ring; instead, the premium movement is affixed directly to the chassis mounting rubbers, which are secured with titanium screws. The case has two Nitrile O-ring seals installed, allowing it to survive being underneath 50 metres of water.

Biver & Breguet Serve Centuries Of Elegance With 2 Stunning New Drops

Peering into the dial, the first thing you would notice is the lack thereof. Instead, you’re directly greeted by ticking gears of the watch’s very calibre.

The intricate construction is fully visible, exhibiting its colourful titanium parts that have been PVD-coated in blue and gold. The Arabic numeral hour markers on the watch face are likewise available in a golden yellow colour to match the colour scheme.

The RM 17-02 Tourbillon in Titanium is available for inquiry now at the Richard Mille’s website.

FRAGILE EXPRESS TIME

If you’re in the gaming world and/or over 30, you’ve probably heard of Hideo Kojima and his masterful contributions to the industry, such as the “Metal Gear” franchise and “Death Stranding.” His creations are absolute works of art that both play and prey on the imagination, and being a man of many talents, it often transcends the original medium.

Which is why his personal game design studio, Kojima Productions, has teamed up with Anicorn to create the “FRAGILE EXPRESS TIME.” This watch takes its inspiration from “Death Stranding” and wears it on its sleeve. Its creation was supervised directly by Kojima himself as well as his most trusted artist, Yoji Shinkawa.

The FRAGILE EXPRESS TIME pays tribute to the hardiness of its namesake, Fragile, an integral character in Death Stranding. Her motto, “I’m Fragile, But Not That Fragile,” is perfectly captured on this timepiece, as it embodies the perfect balance of strength and sensitivity, which echoes the namesake character’s journey through the broken world.

The black-coated casing represents power and mystery that is prevalent throughout the game, while the FRAGILE EXPRESS logo graces both the dial cover and back glass. The watch comes with two different strap options: a fluoroelastomer strap with FRAGILE EXPRESS’s iconic blue and white stripes, which offers both durability and style versatility, and a leather strap embossed with circular patterns reminiscent of Fragile’s jacket.

Make An Epic Splash With The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise

With only 200 pieces produced globally, the FRAGILE EXPRESS TIME comes with a numbered metal plate and is presented in a signature box. Early buyers would be happy to know that they will receive an exclusive gift featuring Death Stranding characters Sam and Fragile, adding an element of mystery to this unique collaboration.

You can snag a personal copy through Anicorn’s official website.
