Sneaker fans, get ready. This season brings fresh drops that mix style with versatility, from bold collabs to unique designs you won’t want to miss.
Whether it’s a futuristic runner with glow-in-the-dark details or a loafer that blends outdoor comfort with city style, these new releases are worth checking out.
Aminé New Balance Biblioteca 2000
Rapper and style tastemaker Aminé has officially unveiled his latest sneaker project with New Balance, the Biblioteca 2000, arriving on 3rd October. This marks his third major collaboration with the brand, following his earlier takes on the 740 and 610 silhouettes.
This time, Aminé puts his spin on the ABZORB 2000, a retro runner originally designed in the 2000s. The model is known for its full-length ABZORB cushioning and ABZORB SBS pods, delivering both comfort and performance. Its smooth, streamlined upper adds a futuristic feel, while Aminé version pushes the boundaries even further with an acid green base, glow-in-the-dark sole units, and a glossy finish.
Adding to its appeal, the Biblioteca 2000 comes with custom packaging inspired by the bookdrop at Portland’s North Branch Library, each box stamped with Aminé’s New Balance wordmark to elevate it into a collector’s piece. In line with the launch, Aminé has also tied the release to a charitable cause, encouraging fans in Portland to donate books to their local library for a chance to win a free pair, with submissions open until 10th September through social media.
The Aminé x New Balance Biblioteca 2000 drops on 3rd October exclusively through CLBN on Laylo, with pricing details to be revealed soon.
KEEN UNEEK Loafer WK
KEEN has officially stepped into the fusion footwear game, unveiling the UNEEK Loafer WK in a sleek black colourway. Dropping on 28th August, this release follows the wave of sneaker-loafer hybrids seen across the industry but stays true to KEEN’s outdoor DNA.
The silhouette blends the brand’s signature open-air UNEEK sneaker design with the timeless penny loafer, resulting in a look that is both unconventional and sophisticated. Handcrafted from ethically sourced leather, the loafer sports polished black uppers with contrasting inner lining and golden wordmarks, while KEEN’s recognisable woven detailing sits proudly across the toe box.
The UNEEK Loafer WK pairs KEEN’s cushioned KEEN.CURVE midsole with a polished design for comfort and style. Product Management Director Carlie Satchwell calls it “premium lifestyle craftsmanship viewed through the lens of performance.” Offering a balance between city-ready style and outdoor roots, the sneaker-loafer proves that being fashionably late can still make an impact.
The KEEN UNEEK Loafer WK will retail for $190 USD (~RM890) and will be available starting 28th August 2025 at the KEEN webstore and select retailers.
