Salomon Snowclog
When it comes to footwear that not only performs well, but also looks stylish while doing so, the first brand that comes to mind is Salomon. For almost 77 years, the French brand has been delivering sporting excellence, while also building a reputation for creating equipment that is as practical as it is fashionable. Case in point is the Salomon Snowclog.
Debuting earlier this year, the Salomon Snowclog takes on the brand’s iconic clog design and makes it perfect for the snowy terrain. Though it features a slim and sleek design, these clogs feature totally rugged and prominent protrusions that allow for exceptional grip as well as preventing you from sinking into the snow.
These easy-on, easy-off Snowclogs come in six eye-catching colourways and have an InfiniFOAM midsole made entirely of recyclable materials and can be disassembled and recycled into other Salomon products. The shoes are incredibly light and have a QR code on the insole that provides more information about the recycling process as a whole. The top of the Snowclog Mid has a side zip opening and is covered by a weather-resistant upper.
The Salomon Snowclog will be available in Red, Black, Yellow, Grey, Cream, and Blue later this October, with an estimated price of US$110 (~RM475) and can be purchased at the Salomon webstore.
GALLERY DEPT. x UGG’s Recycled & Rodeo-Ready Collection
GALLERY DEPT and UGG are back for another collaboration, here to bring Josué Thomas’s dream to reality once more. This time around, the two labels bring a fashionably recycled look to your cowboy ensemble. These four iconic UGG silhouettes have been completely redesigned using recycled denim, regenerative leather, and extra canvas bags.
The UGG GALLERY DEPT, the pair’s distinctive dual-minded lens, redefines the cowboy boot. The Stitched Boot is enhanced with all-over embroidery and has a neutral brown covering, and it’s almost waterproof thanks to its durable lug outsole and its reinforced waterproof leather.
Another standout offering is the UGG GALLERY DEPT. Denim Boot, where each carefully crafted piece of footwear is made of recycled denim, making each pair a one-of-one.
Topping off the collection is the UGG GALLERY DEPT. Canvas Boot and the UGG GALLERY DEPT. The Canvas Tasman are two Canvas silhouettes made from, you guessed it, recycled canvas bags. The Canvas Boot even comes equipped with a handle, pocket, and clip from the surplus bags, which makes the boot portable in its own unique way.
