In recent days, many Malaysians might have come across beautiful-looking trees planted all around the country. It’s not so common to witness such sights. These trees are very similar to the sakura blossoms found mainly in Japan and they are called Tecoma trees, which fully blooms for only 2 weeks. Malaysian Tecoma trees come in pink and white colours and look like little trumpets with petals resembling tissue papers. Hence, it’s nicknamed ’tissue paper tree’.

Tecoma trees will surely attract Instagram users to share their beautiful snapshots you’d normally find in other countries like Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. Now, Malaysians don’t need to visit these countries to experience all of that. For anime fans, this will surely be exciting as you will finally experience what it’s like to walk under these sakura-looking trees and admire the breathtaking scenery.
