Imagine a trailer that wasn’t made for movies or TV shows, but instead for an e-commerce livestream. It’s interesting right?
That’s what Lazada Malaysia did when they collaborated with Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) to release a trailer for the forthcoming “Lazada 11.11 Biggest One-Day Sale” on Wednesday (11th November).
The trailer starred a number of famous local personalities, including Ain Edruce, Ayda Jebat, Sean Lee, Joey Leong and Ismail Ezzani. Dubbed as Malaysia’s first ever cinematic eCommerce livestream trailer, it gives insight on the upcoming “Lazada 11.11 Super Show” (9pm to 12am, 10th November) and “Chief Discount Officer Show” (6pm to 8pm, 11th November), which will both be livestreamed on the Lazada App.
In the trailer, Lazada’s Chief Discount Officer (Ain Edruce) dared shoppers to beat Lazada’s lowest price guaranteed for a chance to receive 11x their money back on price differences. There were the hints and Easter eggs disclosed in the trailer that prices will go down to as low as RM0.11 during the annual shopping festival.
Viewers who stay until the end of the trailer will be treated with an exclusive RM5 vouchers for “Lazada 11.11” through a secret password unveiled during the post-credit scene. We won’t tell you the password, but you know what you got to do. ?
