Instagram sensation-turned-actress and singer Lin Min Chen is popular for her role in “Prince of Wolf” and “Vampire Cleanup Department”. The 29-year-old Penang-born actress is currently based in Taiwan. Lin came to fame in 2014 for her “holding things” photos, and her story has been covered by various international media. Throughout her career, she has released several singles including “Unpossesive”, “Right One to Love”, and “Change”. She recently released visual to her cute and sexy single, “Whoo”.
Fun fact: She was also nominated last year.

Shila Amzah recently achieved her biggest accomplishment yet – motherhood! Her first child, Seth Uwais, was born on 31st August, which makes him a Merdeka baby. A few months back, the 29-year-old singer also debuted her Malay rendition of “Speechless” titled, “Raungan Suara”, for the soundtrack of Disney’s live-action “Aladdin”.

Like Lin Min Chen, Azora Chin was also nominated by TC Candler last year. Out of the list, the 24-year-old Johor-born singer from the C-pop group Nine Percent is the only Malaysian male this year. In addition, he also released a brand new music video for his pop ballad single on 28th August.

Michelle Yeoh has been a busy bee. Following her critically-acclaimed performance as Eleanor Young in “Crazy Rich Asians” last year, the 57-year-old actress will be appearing in 2 more films this year – “Boss Level” and the romantic comedy “Last Christmas” (where she reunites with Henry Golding. 2019 has been a tough year for Fish Leong. After recent speculation that her marriage was on the rocks, the 41-year-old star confirmed that she and her husband of 9 years have divorced.
