Sometimes, we are so entranced by the charm of other countries, we forget to appreciate the beauty of our own. Malaysia is a really unique and alluring country. You might not see it on first look, but trust us, if you know where to look, you’ll find its true beauty!

Just to show you how unique this country is, we’ve compiled a list of not one, not two – but ten places around Malaysia that make you feel like you are in another dimension. Using this list as a guide, we think it’s about time you start exploring the wonders of our own country.

Enjoy a different kind of ‘night’ life under the colourful lights of Putrajaya’s Secret Garden! There’s a whole garden of trees, bushes and pillars wrapped in beautiful and beaming LED lights. Now, wouldn’t that be a dreamy experience?

Our advice would be to visit the park at night to get the full experience. Take a walk among the glows with your loved ones, and don’t forget to create memories of your trip with Insta-worthy photos at different corners of the stunning garden! What’s more is that you don’t have to pay a single cent to enter, cause it’s free!

Selangor River, Kuala Selangor

Dinoflagellates, a tiny bioluminescent organism, will emit a blue-green light when disturbed. Because of the glow it emits, this natural phenomenon have since been given the name ‘blue tears’. This sight in itself is truly magical, like an event out of fairytales. At the Selangor River, you can see blue tears for yourself. Catch the blue glowing patches as you ride along the waters where the river meet the sea. Not only can you find this in Selangor, there’re other places around Malaysia where you can find this beautiful phenomenon too.
