Taiwanese singer Kenji Wu (吴克群) has always attracted attention with his skillful singing and captivating performances. However, a recent viral video has gotten tons of Kenji fans paying attention to a specific part of his body.
The 45-year-old recently attended the Water-Sprinkling Festival (泼水节) in the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan province, China. The festival is similar to the Songkran Festival in Thailand, where participants take part in water-splashing activities like water fights and playing with water guns. Most people at the festival would dress comfortably in bathing suits and t-shirts as they would very likely get drenched by their fellow festival attendees.
Kenji was also comfortably dressed in a white tank top and purple shorts – but some fans believe that was all the star wore during the event. In a video shot by a fan, the singer was getting ambushed on the streets by several fans with water guns. He tried fighting back with his water jet, but the singer ultimately got drenched by all the water shooting his way.
As Kenji was getting heavily soaked, some eagle-eyed fans pointed out a noticeable bulge in his groin area. Some fans began discussing the suspicious print in his pants, with most cheekily teasing that they definitely see a shape. Some fans even concluded from the scene that Kenji wasn’t wearing underwear when he attended the water festival.
Unfortunately, it’s unlikely for Kenji to confirm whether he was indeed going commando at the event. Despite the embarrassing scene, Kenji did seem to have had a great time at the water festival. Not only did the singer enthusiastically participate in water fights, he appeared to have posed for some photos with his fans even while getting blasted with water jets.
Maybe this is one way to remind people to be mindful of their clothes when at a water festival.
