There’s a famous phrase which goes “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” As much as wives love their husbands, sometimes, frustration can get the better of them. Of course, this is by no means an excuse to resort to extreme measures.
In fact, model-actress Zhang Xin Yue aka Carina (张馨月) recently got her own back at her husband, Hong Kong artist Raymond Lam Fung (林峯)! Her method of revenge was short, sweet and in the form of a certain photo.
Carina and Raymond both love their family very much. This is evident by the amount of photos they post and the fact that they’ve taken care to hide their children’s faces. The duo have always had a sweet marriage, however a recent event was enough to make Carina get back at Raymond.
On 19th January, Carina shared a little story with her followers on Weibo. “Last night, I felt that my throat was uncomfortable,” she said. “I was afraid my tonsils would be inflamed and I would catch a cold.” Of course, Raymond took up his husbandly duties and fetched his wife some medicine. Carina specified that they were from Japan, and that she took them as a precaution. “Out of trust, I took (the medicine) without saying a word.” However, she was shocked to discover that the expiration date on the bottles were 2019.
Her story came with a photo of her husband napping with her kid. In the photo, her daughter can be seen poking Raymond’s nose while he was fast asleep. Carina captioned the photo as: “Lovers in a past life“. While the photo was certainly a sweet moment, paired with her story, it was a clear bid for revenge. It left netizens chuckling as they joked Raymond would think twice before handing her expired medicine again. “Quickly check the expiration date for all medication at home,” one netizen advised humorously.
Well, thankfully this issue wasn’t enough to ruin their marriage. We’ve had quite enough of that thanks to the Wang Leehom scandal! Carina’s teasing ‘revenge’ is well deserved however. Expired medicine can have adverse effects, so please be careful when medicating!
