WAKEONE recently shared some bittersweet news for ZEROSEs. Earlier today, the agency announced that ZEROBASEONE (제로베이스원) will no longer disband and will continue group promotions – but with only five members.
On 12th February 2026 (Thursday), WAKEONE shared a statement regarding ZEROBASEONE’s future. The project group formed in 2023 through Mnet’s “Boys Planet” was scheduled to conclude their group activities in March 2026. However, fans expressed hope for the members to continue promoting together.
In its statement, WAKEONE announced that ZEROBASEONE will continue promoting with five out of nine of its members, Sung Han Bin (성한빈), Kim Ji Woong (김지웅), Seok Matthew (석매튜), Kim Tae Rae (김태래) and Park Gun Wook (박건욱). Meanwhile, Zhang Hao (장하오), Ricky (리키), Kim Gyu Vin (김규빈) and Han Yu Jin (한유진), who are all under YH Entertainment, will part ways with the group after March 2026.
This news follows WAKONE’s previous announcement that members Seok Matthew and Park Gun Wook would sign with the agency, joining Kim Tae Rae. However, Sung Han Bin and Kim Ji Woong, who are signed with THE L1VE and NEST Management, respectively, will remain in their agency while continuing to promote in ZEROBASEONE.
ZEROSEs have reacted to the news, sharing mixed responses. While fans were excited that the group would continue promotions, many expressed disappointment that it wouldn’t be with all nine members. Others also wondered if there is any possibility of the remaining four members reuniting with the group in the future.
The group recently released their special album “Re-Flow”. They’ll also hold their encore concert “2026 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR ‘HERE&NOW’ ENCORE” in March with all nine members. We wish all the best for all the ZEROBASEONE members.
