Recently, a 21-year-old woman shared her romance with a married man 13 years older than her. But, it seems this couple in China has successfully beaten that age gap!
Couples with large age gaps have been trending recently. But, netizens were still astonished to see a young woman declare her marriage to this much older man. However, it seems they’re also convinced they know why!
A series of photos have been making their rounds on the internet and needless to say, they’ve caught the attention of many. The photos showed an elderly man driving a luxury car, specifically a red Ferrari with a young girl seated beside him in the car.
Most assumed they were grandfather and grandchild, perhaps enjoying a day out together. But, other photos proved their relationship was that of a married couple! The duo were seen in a different picture holding marriage certificates, much to everyone’s surprise. A such, netizens were quick to leave their comments about the couple’s unorthodox relationship.
A few praised the duo for bravely pursuing their love. “No age is (too much), the most important thing is true love,” one poignantly said. However, others mocked the couple, claiming the woman had only married for money. “(One’s) choice is more important than effort,” one wrote, while another quipped: “Short term investments.” A netizen even commented: “With (a) Ferrari, there is true love.”
Well, to each their own we suppose. The couple seem happy with their arrangement and so, we wish them well on their married journey. Hopefully things work out well for them!
