A married couple from Indonesia made headlines this week with their unconventional love story. According to reports, the woman, known as Ana Amalia has been married to her significantly older husband, Eman, for five years.
Speaking in a local talk show, Ana shared that she was initially against her mom’s decision to marry her off to a man who could pass as her grandfather at the age of 27. A few years have passed since then, and it appears that the couple’s relationship is still going as strong as ever.
“I was forced to get married because my parents had matched us both,” Ana was quoted as saying, according to Kosmo. However, over time, she began to feel comfortable with her married life with Eman. She also began to come to the realisation that God knows what’s best for her.
During the chat, the 32-year-old revealed that she had grown to love her 63-year-old partner as the years went by, and is grateful for her current life. “Eventually, I found myself madly in love with my husband. People say the love is present because we are often there for each other,” said Ana.
