Popular Muslim preacher PU Azman has been in hot waters since last year after he was accused of sexually assaulting two teenage boys. Local rapper Caprice even helped another victim share their story of how the public figure sexually groomed them online.
The “Pencetus Ummah” alumnus pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charges in court but it looks like this case is far from over as more horrifying stories about his alleged actions begin to unravel. One claimed that the accused even asked for oral sex from one of his victims.
According to several reports, a seventh witness came forward to testify in court on Tuesday (25th July) on behalf of two of the many victims. The witness, a former teacher of the victim and also the mother of another victim told the judge that her former student had informed her that the celebrity preacher asked him for oral sex.
“Besides that, the victim also said that he was asked to kiss PU Azman,” she said. The witness said she trusts the victim as he’s known to not be very good at lying and was confident that he was telling the truth about the alleged incident. The anonymous witness also claimed that her son, unfortunately, was a victim himself when the 42-year-old came over to her house for a visit while she was away.
“I was at my nephew’s house at the time. My son told me what happened and urged me to come back. I didn’t want to believe at first cause I never thought PU Azman was even capable of doing something like that,” she elaborated. Like any protective mother, she believed her son and found out later that his friend was also a victim who had gone through a more tramautising ordeal with the preacher.
It was reported that a total of 26 witnesses are expected to be called throughout the trial which started earlier this week. In addition to the initial charges, PU Azman is also facing seven more charges related to sexual crimes he allegedly committed against two children and a teenager in the Shah Alam, Klang, and Ampang courts.
This story just keeps getting worse with each new detail being even more disturbing than the last. We hope that justice will be served and that the victims will get the help they need to move on from these traumatic events.
