It’s that time of the season again! And no, we don’t mean Christmas. We’re talking weddings! And as it turns out, Bali is quite the hotspot this year, especially since two celebrity couples were rumoured to be holding their weddings at this dream destination.
Taiwanese-American singer Wilber Pan (潘玮柏) aka Will Pan’s long-awaited postponed wedding has finally happened, rumouredly in Bali! As it turns out, he isn’t the only one. Hong Kong celebs Kenneth Ma (马国明) and Roxanne Tong (汤洛雯) allegedly have plans to follow suit soon.
43-year-old Wilber Pan has been married to air stewardess Luna Xuan (宣云) for over three years now, with some even claiming the couple had a daughter together. But, Wilber and Luna unfortunately never got to have a wedding, which they apparently managed to rectify a few days ago.
Just yesterday (29th November), Wilber announced the wonderful news with a photo of him and Luna, standing by the sea, in a tux and a wedding dress respectively. Wilber kept his caption simple with a short but sweet: “Thank you, everyone!” while tagging his newly-married wife. Although Wilber did not mention the location of his wedding, many assumed it was at Bali, at famous resort and luxury villas Alila Villas Uluwatu.
Fans were delighted to see the photo as Wilber rarely posts pictures of Luna. Several also took the opportunity to praise Luna for her looks. However, one jokingly complained Wilber was being stingy with his wedding photos. “Why can’t I get nine (photos)? Why only one? This is too stingy,” they grumbled.
Reportedly, Wilber had also asked his friends and family to refrain from sharing photos of his wedding online. But, allegedly, more will be released afterwards. Still, there is no doubt about his love for Luna, as netizens claim he sang “爱的歌” at their wedding banquet for Luna with romantic pink bubbles decorating the air. Needless to say, it certainly made Luna smile.
Well, Bali will supposedly be hosting another celebrity couple’s wedding soon, sometime in December. However, both Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong have been unwilling to disclose the exact location of their wedding.
In fact, when asked about it after their betrothal ceremony yesterday, Kenneth ruefully told reporters: “It’s not convenient to reveal it. I’ll wait for when my wife sends (out) the photos for everyone to see.” However, Kenneth notably did not confirm nor deny the possibility of them holding their wedding in Bali.
Well, we can’t fault these celebrities for choosing Bali as their dream wedding location. It’s has beautiful scenery, a romantic atmosphere and is undeniably one of most photogenic places, especially for weddings!
For now, we’ll simply extend our congratulations to Wilber Pan and Luna Xuan, while eagerly awaiting Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong’s soon-to-be wedding! We sincerely hope it goes well.
