Bad news for those residing in Klang Valley. Another wave of water cut will take place next week beginning 23rd July (Tuesday) and will last up to 84 hours.
Pengurusan Air Selangor (SYABAS) made announcement earlier today (Tuesday, 16th July) that next week’s water disruption will affect 7 districts.
The Klang Valley districts that will be affected include:
1. Petaling,
2. Klang/Shah Alam,
3. Gombak,
4. Kuala Lumpur,
5. Hulu Selangor,
6. Kuala Langat,
7. Kuala Selangor.
Free Malaysia Today reported that the water cuts are due to works being carried out at the Sungai Selangor treatment plant to improve water supply. “These improvisation works will mean a full shutdown of the plant,” SYABAS was quoted as saying. Check out the full list below:
