Despite his ongoing legal battle with ex-wife Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛), businessman Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) has been pursuing a new romantic relationship. The 42-year-old recently shared that he is now engaged to a beauty consultant named Mandy (馬曉梅), who he has been dating for less than a year.
While some were happy to hear that Wang Xiaofei is moving on from his ex-wife, others had reservations about the relationship. Following their dating news, many netizens began sleuthing around for more information on Mandy.
They soon discovered that the beauty consultant was once married to a man named Robert. The ex-husband reportedly gave his blessing for Wang Xiaofei and Mandy to get married but his recent social media update hints otherwise.
According to CTWANT, Robert shared several social media posts that show he’s still in love with Mandy. He reportedly posted photos from when he was still married to his ex, including one of a cake with the words “Forever Love Mandy” written on it. Unfortunately, Robert’s XiaoHongShu account was suspended following a report from a third party, meaning all his photos with his ex-wife are now gone.
Following the incident, Robert started posting more cryptic messages on his other social platforms, including one with lyrics to the song “Decency 体面” by Kelly Yu (于文文). Many believed the post was referring to Mandy and hinted at her infidelity. While it wasn’t confirmed, an insider did claim that Mandy had cheated on Robert during their marriage. Unfortunately, it wasn’t shared if the person she cheated on was Wang Xiaofei or another man.
Nevertheless, netizens have voiced their support for Robert after the supposed revelation of Mandy’s unfaithfulness. Many wished him happiness, saying he’d find someone better than his ex-wife. Others tried comforting him, saying Mandy’s relationship with her new fiance wouldn’t last long. However, some quipped that Mandy seemed to be a good match for Wang Xiaofei, who had a few cheating allegations during his marriage with Barbie.
