H&M Luncheon With Meerqeen, Nabil Aqil, Zamaera & Rafidah
To mark the launch of its Spring 2023 collection, as well as announce the four new faces of its upcoming social media campaign, H&M invited us to an intimate luncheon at The Chow Kit – An Ormond Hotel, on Tuesday, 7th March. We were treated to an exclusive preview of the campaign video and images; and heard from the talents about their favourite pieces in the collection, as well as their personal fashion go-tos.

Lazada’s Koleksi Raya LazLook
We attended the glamourous Koleksi Raya LazLook, a fashion showcase which took place right in the heart of KL’s golden triangle. Over 50 models strutted down the high street before making their final chic stop at the CommonsKL @ BBPark, presenting stunning line-ups from Naelofar, Rico Rinaldi, Petit Moi, Poplook, Cynthia Tang, Zucca, Gene Martino, Zoe Arissa, Bayu Somerset, and TATO Shop.
The fashion show also featured a spectacular musical performance by singer Naim Daniel. Additionally, there was a host of engaging shoppertainment activities, such as games and challenges for audiences online and offline, with over RM50,000 worth of prizes and vouchers up for grabs.

We got to attend the #ZALORAYA2023 fashion show on the 7th of March, which was broadcast live via the ZALORA Instagram account! Split across 3 shows at 2:00pm, 5:00pm and 8:00pm, the showcase featured nine revered designers: Maslea, Yadotsa, Syomirizwa Gupta, Lubna, TAS by Tom Abang Saufi, Zalia, Alia B., Afiq M, and NH by Nurita Harith. Needless to say, we were stunned by all the amazing designs that were featured on the runway at The Starhill KL.

“Bukalah Hati” with Astro
Astro unveiled a variety of content set to air as part of its Ramadan programming – and we had a front row seat to the presentation, held at the Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar Hotel. Astro customers will be treated to TV shows like “Geng Ngaji Season 4”, “Rockstar Ke Masjid” and “Projek Bapak-Bapak”, for the entire Holy Month. They can also look forward to new drama series such as “Andainya Takdir” and “Imam Instant Ustazah Scammer”; as well as the local version of the game show “Family Feud”!

Food & Drink Malaysia 2023 Launch
The press conference for the Food & Drink Malaysia 2023 by SIAL (Salon international de l’alimentation) Trade Expo was held at MITEC on Wednesday (8th March). Attended by Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), Noor Ahmad; and Chief Executive Office of Comexposium, Asia Pacific, Elaine Chia, the event saw the announcement that FDM 2023 would be taking place on 4th to 6th July, with over 450 F&B exhibitors from 22 countries. The duo then launched the expo and later, with Group Chief Officer of Impact Circle, Melissa Ong, attended the MOU signing ceremony.
