Earlier this week, a TikToker who goes by @/tiff.nie_ (Tiffany) recalled her most recent experience at the Maluri MRT station, where she claimed to have been attacked by a strange woman. According to the content creator, she was simply making her way to the station when a woman suddenly slapped her on the left side of her head as they passed each other.
After posting her video, Tiffany discovered she was not the first victim, as many others came forward, sharing similar encounters with the violent elderly woman. Thankfully, Prasarana and RapidKL responded to her complaint and took the necessary measures. Here’s the full story:

In a follow-up video posted a day later, Tiffany updated her followers, revealing that Prasarana had contacted her to inquire about the assault. She said that they informed her that they had been investigating the woman for a while, having received similar reports from other passengers who encountered the attacker.
“Prasarana and MyRapid called me and told me that they had reported my case to the auxiliary police,” she stated, before expressing her gratitude towards the company for being responsive to her case. According to the young woman’s post, Prasarana has also tightened security around the Maluri MRT station to ensure the apprehension of the perpetrator and prevent similar incidents from occurring again.

“I’m grateful for their quick action, and I’m glad to know that I can immediately report any distressing incidents to the auxiliary police officers on duty or contact them through their helpline. Thank you so much for looking into my case, as at the time, I was honestly clueless about what I should’ve done,” she said in her video. In her Instagram story posted yesterday (Thursday, 23rd January), Tiffany updated that thankfully, the attacker had been apprehended.
