(Video) Woman Casually Snacks While Carrying Husband On Her Shoulders

There is a general consensus we often hear that women are physically weaker than men. Although there’s some truth in that, that’s not always the case.

Recently, a viral Douyin video was proof that women are not as weak as we think them to be. In the video, a woman from China did what a man is ‘supposed’ to do and this difference from the norm sparked heated discussions among the online communtiy.

From the video, a man is seen sitting on his wife’s shoulders while he changes the lightbulb. The woman did not even show any signs of struggle while she was carrying the weight of her husband on her shoulders. Throughout the whole time, she was even snacking and managed to smile for the camera!

The married couple from China could not find a ladder to change their broken lightbulb, so the two came up with this plan. It appears that the plan was a success as the woman later set her husband down at the counter at the end of the video. The couple looks very nonchalant in the video as though this is something common in their household.

After watching the video, netizens were deeply impressed with the woman. Some of them jokingly expressed jealousy that this Chinese man has such a capable woman as his wife. A few ladies also added that while they’d love to support their husband like how this woman did, unfortunately carrying their overweight husband is just not physically do-able.

  • “He should really cherish his wife.”
  • “The main point is: she was still eating the whole time!”
  • “So effortless, just eating her snacks in peace.”
  • “How was she so relaxed throughout all that?!”
  • “Boss lady.”
  • “I’m 96kg and my husband is 198kg, I’m really can’t carry him!”
