Here’s some information for context. Director and actor Syamsul Yusof recently held a press conference to address the multiple ongoing issues in his life. The 38-year-old spoke about his marriage drama with his first wife Puteri Sarah as well as his beef with actor Aaron Aziz who he dropped from a project on the grounds that the actor was unwell and unable to handle the demands of the role.
During the press conference, the director also brought up Caprice’s previous conflict with actor Sharnaaz Ahmad. The “Khurafat” star reportedly suggested that the rapper was trying to avoid meeting up with the actor to settle their disagreements a few years ago. The hip-hop artist responded to his claims by posting a TikTok video of him and Sharnaaz having a friendly conversation at a restaurant.
“Who was I trying to avoid meeting again?” he rhetorically asked in the post’s caption. The video reached nearly 640k views at the time of writing and netizens applaud the “Lai Lah” artist for his comeback at the troubled celeb’s claims. Others questioned Syamsul’s intention in doing what he did.
So why did the “Mat Kilau” director even brought up Caprice and Sharnaaz’s old beef? Other than responding to Caprice’s comment about his troubled marriage with his first wife, it’s probably due to the fact that Syamsul, himself was accused of avoiding meeting up with Aaron Aziz after the actor repeatedly asked him to settle their dispute.
Syamsul previously told local media that he refused to drag his conflict with the Singaporean actor any further, saying that it’s better he remains silent on the matter. With all these ongoing dramas, it certainly looks like we’ll be hearing more from these Malaysian celebs.
