There’s no telling what you might encounter when you’re stuck in traffic. Some have witnessed horrific accidents that occurred earlier that day while others may have seen some indecent acts by shameless couples while waiting for the traffic light to turn green.

To add to our list of strange sightings on the road, this man was caught working out with dumbbells in the middle of a traffic jam. Watch:

Earlier this week, a video was posted on Twitter by user @ngurahsaka that showed a strange sighting during a traffic jam in Indonesia. Road users and passersby were surprised to see what appeared to be a foreign man lifting dumbbells on his motorcycle in the middle of the road.

The strange muscled man in the white sleeveless shirt did not seem to care about his surroundings as he suddenly decided to pull out the weights and work out amidst the traffic. Thankfully, he didn’t show off his muscles for too long as he put the dumbbells away when traffic started to clear up. The video of the unusual incident has since gone viral all over social media.

According to Indonesian news sites, the man was believed to be a Caucasian man who was on holiday in the country. It is unclear as to why the foreigner had dumbbells on him at the time or what prompted him to suddenly exercise in the middle of traffic but it can be assumed tha he was probably on his way to a gym.

Netizens, including a few from Malaysia, were obviously flabbergasted by the video. Many were amused and made jokes about the incident while others were genuinely curious about who he was and why he did what he did in the viral post. Some even compared him to members of K-pop group Seventeen (세븐틴) as they’re known to flex their muscles after a workout session.

How would you react if you were to see someone working out in the middle of a traffic jam?
