What began as a casual holiday for two Malaysian women in South Korea quickly turned into an unforgettable adventure. Their trip took an unexpected turn when they crossed paths with the cast of the hit reality show “Running Man”.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the duo looked overjoyed as they came face-to-face with several members of the long-running variety program, including renowned actress Song Ji Hyo (송지효) and musician HaHa (하하). To their surprise, the women were even invited to join one of the show’s signature games.

Although the cast initially struggled to explain the rules in English, the tourists quickly adapted to the challenge, which is to continue the string of words following the previous syllable. When one member said the word “Gangnam”, one of the Malaysians confidently continued with “Namdaemun”, earning cheers from the entire cast, who celebrated the successful completion of the mission.
The spontaneous moment left both travelers stunned. One of them later shared on Threads, “One of the most random moments during our trip, my brain was literally loading because I was still processing whether it was really Song Ji Hyo right in front of me.”

The clip has since sparked excitement online, with netizens expressing both pride and envy at seeing Malaysians featured on such an iconic Korean variety show. Many praised the tourists for answering correctly despite not being given a full explanation of the rules, calling the moment both impressive and memorable.
