As some of you may know, SNSD’s Hyoyeon (김효연), also known as DJ Hyoyeon, performed at the UNITED MUSIC FESTIVAL 2024 in Petaling Jaya last December. The idol treated fans to an unforgettable night before ringing in the year 2025.
Aside from her performance, many have wondered what else she got up to during her visit. It seems our questions have been answered, as the musician has posted her latest vlog showcasing her time in Malaysia. Let’s take a look:
Last night (Thursday, 27th February), Hyoyeon uploaded her latest vlog to her YouTube channel, sharing her adventures in Malaysia with fans. The video began with the singer performing at her show in Jakarta, Indonesia, before transitioning to her time in Kuala Lumpur.
The SNSD member’s first stop was to dine somewhere near Petaling Street. The idol and her friends were initially seated at a table under a tent, but they moved inside as the rain started to pour heavily outside. Although it was not specified, the 35-year-old appeared to have ordered butter prawns and BBQ chicken wings, which she said were delicious.
After their meal, Hyoyeon and her friends went on to explore the rest of Petaling Street. The DJ can be seen taking photos of the colourful buildings, street art, and even a cat before shopping at one of the market stores. Finally, it was time for her performance at the UNITED MUSIC FESTIVAL 2024.
After posting the video, Malaysian fans expressed their excitement at seeing their favourite idol exploring a popular tourist spot in Kuala Lumpur. Some wished that they were there that day to meet her.
