Delivering a heartfelt rendition of her song “Lihatlah”, the 24-year-old impressed the panel of international judges with her powerful vocals and emotional delivery. The song, Yazmin explained, is about finding strength in oneself even when faced with the doubts of others.
“Lihatlah is about searching for inner strength despite people’s scepticism. I’m very grateful that the judges in Kazakhstan were able to feel the emotion behind it. This win is for Malaysia, and of course, for ASEAN as well,” she expressed in an Instagram post on Tuesday (23rd September 2025).
