Airplanes are one of the best modes of transportation there is, but there is a reason why many people are so scared of boarding them. The fear of not being able to run anywhere when in danger, is indeed real. And these dangers come in so many forms, shapes, and sizes.

Just recently, a video of a corpse appearing outside of its coffin on an airplane went viral on Twitter. Said video brought a wave of questions from the online community, wondering whether the video is actually real. Scroll down to read more about this mystical story:

TIDURLAH WAHAI PERMAISURI
This video was posted on Reddit with this caption:
“Bayangkan kau berada 30,000 kaki atas udara dan keranda tu dah elok siap wrap semua tapi ‘benda’ tu boleh baring elok luar keranda. Tak kelakar ya”

Bro, we been knew since 4bia (2008). pic.twitter.com/kgjSMEhWwM

The viral video in question was apparently recorded from behind a door of a cargo hold at the belly of the plane. Along with the video, the caption reads: “Imagine you are 30,000 feet in the air and the coffin is all nicely wrapped up. But the ‘thing’ is lying outside of its coffin. It’s not funny ya.”

If you didn’t already know, dead bodies of people who didn’t die on the plane are transported via their coffins in the luggage department of commercial airlines, which is the cargo hold. And this video shows exactly how things usually go until it got spooky.

Jeffrey Zain, the man who posted the video on Twitter, also added that they already knew this was going to happen. He referenced the spooky video to an old 2008 Thai horror movie “4bia”. In the movie, a corpse of a Princess had to be transported from Thailand to Virnistan by plane ride.

Netizens are horrified by this movie and questioned whether the events in the video were true. This is because nothing in the video is from the movie, therefore it must have been taken from somewhere else. Unfortunately for them, there is still no clarification about whether the video is authentic or not.

Scrolling through Twitter, many shared their stories from watching the movie “4bia”. The movie featured four different horror stories, and many said that the corpse on the plane story was especially horrifying – just like the one in the video.

What do you guys think? Was the video real or staged?
