We’ve seen local netizens advising and praying for female Muslim celebrities to dress more modestly and that includes wearing the hijab. However, as previously stated by former beauty queen Rozita Che Wan, donning the garment is a lifetime commitment that should not be taken lightly so if these celebs were to choose to wear one, it has to be of their own accord.
Regardless, that hasn’t stopped anyone from going on social media and asking Muslim public figures to cover up. Rather than being offended by someone telling her that she looks better with a hijab on, young celebrity entrepreneur Cik B, went and tested that theory. Watch:
Earlier this week, Dato Seri Vida’s daughter Cik B posted a video on her business TikTok channel of her trying on the hijab. In the video, she was seen talking to someone while an unidentified person helped to put on the Islamic garment on her head. The video was filmed as a response to a netizen’s comment saying that she would look beautiful in a hijab.
The young entrepreneur said in the captions that she still has no plans to fully commit to wearing the headscarf for the rest of her life but acknowledges that she will have to sooner or later. “I don’t know when exactly my heart will be open to start wearing the hijab. However, please pray for me okay?” she stated in the video. She also thanked netizens for their support and advice in the post’s captions.
Fans complimented Cik B saying that she does look beautiful while wearing the hijab. Others offered their prayers for the influencer to cover her aurat one day. A few even said that she looked more like her mother while wearing the Islamic headscraft, to which the young star responded with, “The best compliment ever”.
Whether or not she chooses to wear the hijab one day, it will still ultimately be her choice to make. We’re glad to know that her fans will support her no matter what. Check out the video below:
