Earlier this week, Malaysian-born entrepreneur Nur Sajat dropped some shocking news to fans on TikTok Live saying that she has cancer. This led to many offering their prayers and sympathies on this revelation. Some even asked for forgiveness for their past criticism and judgement towards her.
However, at the time, the public figure never actually specified what kind of cancer she was battling or how long she’s had it. Having said that, people should not panic or be too concerned just yet as the businesswoman finally spoke out about the news surrounding her health. Here’s what she said:

On Wednesday (24th January), Nur Sajat did a live stream on her TikTok channel where she addressed her cancer diagnosis. The 38-year-old clarified that she was only suspected to have lung cancer but had not gone for a proper cancer screening just yet. “The doctors suspected that I had cancer due to my rapid weight loss. They’re very particular here. But it’s also disheartening to receive questions from everyone about me being sick. Just pray that it’s nothing serious,” she said.
She then revealed that she’s currently recovering from Covid so her appointment for a CT scan is scheduled for next week. When asked about how she would feel if it was confirmed to be cancer, she said, “If it’s confirmed that then just let it be, I don’t want to even think about it. It’s not like you guys love me anyway, right?” In a follow-up livestream the next day, Nur Sajat expressed her frustration after being asked by Malaysian reporters to give out a statement regarding her health.
She argued that she was not worth reporting and that people should focus on more important matters. “I didn’t want to give a statement. I don’t want to glamorise this, I’m nobody now. Besides, nothing is confirmed yet,” she said. Nevertheless, the mother-of-two reassured her fans that she would update them about her diagnosis once the results are in.
