Just like her mother Dato Seri Vida, Cik B is not shy when it comes to showing off her wealth. She previously bought herself a brand new Mercedes-AMG G63 for her 18th birthday which cost around RM2 million. The young entrepreneur is set to further her studies abroad in Barcelona, Spain and she’s been posting videos of her preparations for her new life.
Yesterday (Wednesday, 16 October), the influencer posted a video on her TikTok channel showing her visiting an unspecified money exchange outlet to convert Malaysian Ringgit to Euros. “I usually go cashless but since I’m going abroad, I’ll need to bring some cash with me, just a little bit, just in case,” she said in the video.
Cik B then proceeded to open her handbag to showcase the stacks of RM50 notes in cash. Once she arrived at the money exchange outlet, she explained to both the staff and the viewers about her choice to bring that much money. “Since I’ll be studying in Spain, I’ll need to convert some cash in case of emergencies. Who knows my card might get declined or if something, at least I’ll have cash on me to survive,” she elaborated while her stacks of cash were being counted.
It was revealed that the business owner had converted around RM50,000, which is equivalent to approximately €10,520. While the staff were packing her converted cash, they asked her about her studies, to which she replied that she would be pursuing a business major. Soon after posting the video, netizens were taken aback by the amount of cash Cik B had with her. Some joked that the money in the young star’s bag was enough to pay off their student loans, while others noted how “little” the entrepreneur received after converting it to Euros.
There were also those who expressed concerns for the content creator’s safety, fearing she might be targeted now that she had revealed how much cash she was carrying. Perhaps it would’ve been better if Cik B hadn’t uploaded the TikTok post, especially since cash is involved but whatever the case, we hope that Cik B is safe and may she do well in her studies abroad.
