For those who may not be aware, actresses Fazura and Neelofa have not been on the best of terms for more than a decade. If that wasn’t obvious enough, fans have constantly compared the two stars whenever an issue arises.
However, there hasn’t been much drama between the celebs and that’s probably intentional. Neelofa herself shared that she’s ready to let go of the past. During an interview with local media, the 34-year-old said that she is willing to meet with the fellow celeb to finally put an end to their 13-year-long conflict.
“Our fans would often argue about these things so I believe it’s best we settle this once and for all,” said the entrepreneur. The 2009 Dewi Remaja winner said that she would take the first opportunity to make peace with Fazura. “It’s been 12 or 13 years and I’m not going to wait another 10 years to finally do something. I think it’s time for us to just focus on the good things and leave the past behind us,” the TV host added.
When asked if she believes the “Langit Cinta” star would be willing to do the same thing, Neelofa answered that she’s confident that both of them would agree to the idea. Furthermore, she explained that since the two of them have started their own family and businesses, they’ve since moved past the petty drama. The mother-of-two shared that making peace would also help resolve the fan wars that have been going on for years.
As for Fazura, the actress posted a video of her during an interview with the media where she was asked about an issue raised by Neelofa’s fan club. The “Cinderella” singer elaborated in the captions that the “Cold War” narrative is not exactly as how many people made it out to be over the years. “I have the right to decide who I want to be friends with and just because I’m not friends with someone, does not mean we’re enemies,” she said.
She ended the post by hoping that everyone would be able to move on with their lives. Let’s hope that the fans will follow their idols’ advice and make peace with one another as well.
