Many celebrities have openly shared about their love life, even the bad experiences. In a recent talk show appearance, Hong Kong actress Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) opens up about her past romances and the time she cried over her ex-boyfriend.
The 44-year-old recently made an appearance on ChillGOOD TV’s “The Bros Club (巴打圍爐)”, where she talked about her love life. Despite having a “good girl” image, Natalie admitted that she has quite a temper when it comes to dating. She shared that she once lost her temper while in public because she suspected that her then-boyfriend was cheating on her with another girl. As it turns out, her hunch was correct.
The actress said she later discovered that the boyfriend had indeed reconciled with his ex-girlfriend. Natalie recalled going to a park after that incident and crying the whole night until 5am the next morning. The star would also hint that she had more experiences of being cheated on, but notes that she never personally witnessed her past partners with other women. Instead, she has only heard about their infidelity.
Interestingly, Natalie said she wouldn’t plead for her ex to stop cheating. Instead, she’ll ignore him and fall into a cold war until they break up. At the same time, Natalie also shared her ideal type on the show, revealing that she likes guys with a sense of humour. She also said that first impressions are crucial to her, adding that if she feels a spark from the get-go, she’ll try to pursue a relationship with that person.
The former TVB actress also dished on some unpleasant experiences while filming, recalling a former co-star who was cold towards her. She said they had to play lovers in one drama, so they often had to hold hands. However, the co-star would immediately pull his hand away once the camera stopped rolling. While the host tried to get Natalie to reveal the co-star’s identity, the actress refused to disclose who the actor was.
It appears that Natalie has had some bad encounters with her boyfriends and male co-stars. At least she learned something valuable from the experiences. Let’s hope that she’ll find better luck in the romance and casting department in the future.
