The significance of celebrating Chinese New Year is not to be underestimated. With so many people heading back to reunite with their family and friends, all preparing to celebrate together, it’s a huge period of time where everyone’s on the move.

Of course, that means that we’re all going to be stuck in a traffic jam. With so many cars on the road, traffic can come to a standstill, trapping us all for hours, and no one likes to be caught in a jam. This businessman had a unique solution though.

Instead of suffering through the pain that is a horrid traffic jam, he utilised his resources and had not one, but TWO helicopters deliver him and his family to their destination. Eager to return to their hometown, he managed to bypass all that troublesome traffic for a much faster and way more direct route.

The two aircraft landed in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan at 11am yesterday (Thursday, 30th January), and caused quite a stir among the locals. Many whipped out their phones to start recording, securing footage of the local legend. As it turns out, the helicopter is a regular, as the businessman returns on the second day of the Lunar New Year, every year without fail, to visit his hometown.

Although the identity of the businessman remains unknown, in previous years, he had only taken one helicopter, so having a second aircraft this year was a change of pace. New year, new methods? Whether this was a practical option or not, it certainly makes for an entertaining situation. Since there was a second helicopter, perhaps in the future, the number of aircraft he brings will continue to increase.

We look forward to counting next year’s number of helicopters, and we wish this businessman and everyone a very happy Chinese New Year. How would you bypass a traffic jam?
