Malaysian-born model Danielle Graham (丹尼尔) is best known for her Olay commercial in the early 2000s, which also earned her the nickname “Rosamund Kwan’s lookalike (翻版关之琳)”. The Hong Kong-based star has recently started being active on XiaoHongShu, where she posts about her daily life.
Most recently, Danielle shared a video about her life as a divorcee. The public figure married a banker in 2009 and had two children together. However, the pair divorced in 2016, and Danielle is now a single mother. In October, the model spoke about her divorce for the first time in eight years, noting that many were curious about her split from her ex-husband as there isn’t much details.

In the video, Danielle opened up about how she had to go to therapy to deal with her marriage falling apart. She also admitted it was the most painful time of her life but said she had to seek divorce because she was unhappy with the marriage. The public figure also spoke about raising her children as a single mother, admitting that it isn’t easy. However, she said her children have a healthy relationship with her and have great support from loved ones.
Danielle also shared another video as a follow-up to the previous post, where she shared her thoughts about being single. The mother of two admitted that she’d like to be in a relationship but isn’t actively seeking a partner because she’s comfortable alone. Danielle also shared the best things about being single, saying she likes that she has the whole bed and jokes that she doesn’t have to hear the other person snoring.

After sharing both videos, Danielle has received tons of supportive messages from netizens. Some single parents also thanked her for opening up about her divorce and raising her children alone, adding that it has given them the strength to persevere. Many also wished the model and her family happiness in the future. Meanwhile, others complimented her on her beauty, saying she’s ageing gracefully.
Divorce is never an easy choice, but we applaud Danielle for her bravery in sharing her story. We wish her all the best in the future and hope to see more of her on social media.
