TVB actor Ben Wong (黃智賢) may be a skilled actor who can captivate audiences, it appears singing isn’t his forte. Aside from receiving tons of praise for his acting, Ben is known to have mastered other skills like cooking and often shows off his many talents on his social media accounts.
The 57-year-old actor recently starred in the TVB drama “Sinister Beings 2 (逆天奇案2)” as the dedicated police inspector Nic Sir. As a “gift” for all the support he received from viewers, he recently shared a video of him singing while on set – and needless to say, it left many fans speechless.
In the video posted on his XiaoHongShu account, Ben was singing along to Jeff Chang’s “Love Like Tides”. However, to the amusement of his fans, Ben’s singing was completely off-key from the start to the end. Nevertheless, the star continued singing the track with all his might and little care for the world around him. Even Ben’s co-star Joman Chiang (蔣祖曼), who filmed the video, couldn’t help but crack up at the actor’s passionate singing.
The video garnered tons of attention from fans, who were delighted to find out that the talented actor does indeed have his flaws. Many were entertained at how the celeb continued to belt out the song without getting embarrassed, even when caught by his fellow actor. Some even joked that it’s a good thing that Ben turned out to be an actor instead of trying out as a singer.
