It’s been a few months since BLACKPINK brought their “BORN PINK” world tour here in Malaysia. The K-pop girl group brought the house down and BLINKs definitely had the time of their lives. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for everyone.

Some fans have complained about seating arrangements and one particular concertgoer shared his plans to sue the organiser for his missing seat at the venue. Here’s the full story:

For context, Nas Rahman, a Malaysian lawyer bought a ticket to watch BLACKPINK live in Kuala Lumpur on 4th March earlier this year. Unfortunately for the BLINK, his seat was missing. “My seat was at section 207, row G no.37 but the last seat in that row was no.36. I had no choice but to stand at the entrance and sit at the stairs,” he tweeted.

Due to this, he asked the organiser Live Nation to refund his ticket as his assigned seat didn’t even exist that evening. After months of negotiation, the Malaysian attorney decided to file a RM1 million lawsuit as both parties could not come to an agreement. Nas updated the case in a recent TikTok video where he explained the situation in more detail.

“I believe it is necessary to take this step. It’s not about the money. It’s about not letting these people take advantage of us. I could’ve ignored this but I’m sure the same thing will happen again to other people,” he stated in his video. The legal practitioner noted that it’s important for him to bring this case forward regardless if he wins or loses as it can help encourage others to take a stand.

In a recent tweet, Nas explained that he’ll refrain from commenting about the lawsuit as the case has been brought to court. However, he will be updating his followers from to time about the progress. As seen in the screenshots above, netizens have all shown support for the lawyer and hope that he’ll win the case.

At the time of writing,  Live Nation has yet to comment on the RM1 million lawsuit. Watch the full TikTok video for his explanation:
