Over the weekend, Taiwanese boy band F4 made headlines with the announcement of their highly anticipated reunion tour. Unfortunately, member Ken Chu (朱孝天) was nowhere to be found in any of the promotional materials. After much speculation, the singer finally revealed why.
On 8th December 2025 (Monday), days after B’in Music announced the “F Forever Star City World Tour”, Ken released a video on his social media, clarifying why he’s not part of the upcoming reunion and what happened behind the scenes. In the video, the singer denied rumours he was kicked out of F4 and the reunion, saying he only found out about his removal after the concert announcement.

Ken also revealed that he had never signed a contract with B’in Music, noting that they have only reached the discussion stage. However, he claimed that the agency was the one cutting contact with him. According to Ken, he had rejected three demands from B’in Music during the contract discussion, prompting them to stop contact with him. However, he never disclosed the demands.
Ken also lamented the rumours that emerged online during the reunion plans, denying that the group removed him for leaking information. The 46-year-old also expressed regret that he won’t be part of the upcoming reunion, but gave his blessings to the remaining F4 members and wished them a smooth tour. He also expressed hope that all four members could reach a consensus and properly reunite for the fans.

Despite that, Ken ended his message by calling out B’in Music manager Sister Ai (Ai Jie/艾姐). Ken hinted that she was another reason why he’s not part of the F4 reunion, saying, “I don’t quite understand what you’re doing right now. If you don’t like me or feel I’m not suitable for this performance, you can tell me directly. I can cooperate. There’s no need for smear campaigns.” However, he said he’s willing to reach out and find a middle ground with her.
Fans have reacted to Ken’s response video, mostly voicing support for him. Some also hope that he could still join the reunion tour, noting the group won’t be complete without all four members. Watch Ken’s video below:
