Fashion is all about making a bold statement and whether it’s a revealing sun dress or a tight party dress, surely not everything is everyone’s cup of tea. Such sentiment can be applied to Nabila Razman, eldest daughter of entrepreneur Liana Rosli also known as Kak KM, after finding herself embroiled in a narrative of societal scrutiny due to her provocative clothing.
Recently, Nabila revealed in an interview that her parents don’t simply let her wear whatever she wants and will intervene if they perceive her attire as excessively risqué. However, she admitted that there are instances in which she would rebel against her parents over this matter yet her mother would advise her to change.

“It’s not even that sexy, I’m wearing the same as others. Perhaps my face is sexy,” the 21-year-old retorted, addressing the relentless critique of her wardrobe. She added that her outfit varies on the occasion she’s going for and whether adorned in the traditional elegance of “baju kurung” or the refined allure of a kebaya, she contends that her attire remains aligned with prevailing norms.
Notably, comparisons between Nabila and her mother, Liana Rosli, are constantly made with netizens thinking that the two have similar styles, deemed as too sexy. The daughter of the public figure easily quips, “Of course, I will follow my mom’s footsteps. Who else am I supposed to follow?“.

Despite the cacophony of online dissent, the entrepreneur’s daughter claimed that she never once dwelled over whatever netizens had to say or felt the need to get offended by the comments made. She believes everyone will eventually nitpick at whatever she does and wears, believing she is a nobody to stop people from talking. Nabila even recalled the days during the interview when she would read the comments by accident but after Kak KM forbade her from doing so, she stopped reading them.
Yet, amidst the shadows of cynicism, Nabila continues to find comfort in the unwavering support of her inner circle like her friends, family, and devoted fans alike. Their collective encouragement serves as space to build upon resilience to navigate the labyrinth of being an Internet celebrity.
