Liana Rosli (or Kak KM) is back in the spotlight! The entrepreneur sparked yet another controversy after she uploaded a video showing a group of youngsters (including her young daughter) smoking on her Instagram.
Needless to say, a lot of netizens reacted negatively to Kak KM’s posting on social media. Many criticised her for failing to educate her child about the dangers of smoking cigarettes.
Commenting on the matter, the daughter of seasoned actress, Normah Damanhuri, stated she is still rational to not allow her daughter to do something that could seriously affect her health. “I’m not foolish to allow my kids to smoke a cigarette that contains tobacco. In the video, she was smoking a cigarette that didn’t contain any harmful substances,” she said when contacted by mStar.
At the same time, Kak KM expressed that parents should be more careful of children who took the prohibited items in secret. “To those who slammed me, I’ll just let them be. The individuals who were seen smoking in the video are my kids, and not theirs. We should be more concerned if minors smoke cigarettes in secret without their parents’ knowledge. I want children to feel the experience of smoking cigarettes so they are aware of the dangers of smoking,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Kak KM who also considers it (smoking) a fun activity every time her family returns to their hometown. “Back then, when my late grandpa was around, we would always sit together chewing betel leaves and smoking tobacco cigarettes. It’s like an activity to revisit what we used to do with him,” the sensational businesswoman was quoted as saying.
