Disney Channel’s “Camp Rock”, released in 2008, was one of the station’s most successful TV films. It also launched Demi Lovato’s career, propelling her to stardom. The lead single from the film’s soundtrack, “This Is Me”, remains one of Disney’s most iconic songs to this day.
Nearly 20 years later, few could have predicted that fans would be treated to a special reunion between the main stars of “Camp Rock”. During the Jonas Brothers’ recent concert, they brought out a surprise guest, none other than Demi Lovato, to perform a couple of hits from the original film and its sequel. Watch:

Yesterday (Monday, 11th August), the Jonas Brothers kicked off their 20th Anniversary Tour at the MetLife Stadium in their home state of New Jersey. At one point during the show, the members reminisced about their time auditioning for and filming Camp Rock before launching into “Gotta Find You”.
As the lights dimmed, scenes from the first film and its sequel were projected onto the screen. Lead singer Joe then introduced the surprise guest, Demi Lovato, who walked onto the stage to perform “This Is Me”, much to the fans’ excitement. This also marks her first live performance since 2024. From the videos posted, the songstress proved she remains one of Disney’s most skilled vocalists, effortlessly hitting those iconic high notes.

Of course, the 32-year-old couldn’t leave fans with just one song. Demi and Joe then performed their duet “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” from “Camp Rock 2”. The special medley performance instantly went viral on social media, with fans praising Demi’s vocals and the wave of nostalgia it evoked. Others expressed their happiness at seeing the actress and Joe still being good friends after all these years, given that they are exes.
There is currently no news if Demi Lovato will join the Jonas Brothers on tour or if the medley will be performed at other stops. Regardless, those who attended the recent show surely did get to experience something extraordinary.
